I’m Emily, and I am initially from a small coastal town called Vero Beach, Florida. I decided to leave my beautiful beaches and warm weather for the cold winters of Indiana. Here I have been pursing my BFA in Acting at Ball State University!
One of the most important parts of making and creating art for me is allowing all to be included and celebrated. I am a strong advocate for inclusivity within theatre, specifically for those with disabilities. During my schooling, I completed my minor in American Sign Language! I hope to use this within the theatre realm as well. From peer to peer academic assistance to weekend performance creating; nothing makes me happier than getting to spend time and create art with students who typically aren’t granted that opportunity.
When I am not performing or being theatrical, you can find me organizing everything that comes my way, making vegan dishes, going to every thrift and consignment in the area or listening to Lizzy McAlpine.
